Hi! I'm Rachel, half-Sinti Romany, half-British, completely Kentish.
I'm a country bumpkin with a BA in Creative Writing and Music from Roehampton University and a MA in Screenwriting from the UK's National Film and Television School (NFTS). My many glamorous jobs have included pun writer for an online tie shop, receipt sorter at Gravesend train station and programme monitor for the NHK.
I love to illustrate really cute things however I also specialise in creating horror.
I got a taste for creating comics when my short graphic stories were published in The Strumpet volumes 3, 4 and 5 and now I make long form comics for online. I am also a Manga Jiman finalist (aiming for that win soon).
My goals are to entertain and be a positive ambassador for Roma. I come from mixed cultures so I want to share my unique experience of the world with as many people as possible.
